Who We Are
The Carnegie City-County Library (CCCL) is located at 2810 Wilbarger St., Vernon, TX. The CCCL provides free library cards to all residents living within the boundaries of Wilbarger County. The library has over 30,000 materials including regular print books, large print books, and books on CD . Movies in DVD format are also available for check-out.

The mission of the Carnegie City-County Library is to provide and promote open access to information, resources and reading materials that will enlighten and enrich all people in the community.
Our Vision
The residents of Vernon and Wilbarger County will have the information they need to succeed at work, at school and in their personal lives. They will have reading, viewing and listening materials and programs that enhance their knowledge of the world and improve their leisure time. They will develop a love of reading and learning and enjoy a high level of access to electronic information resources. The Carnegie City-County Library will be thought of as a major link to knowledge and as an excellent source for recreational reading materials.
